Direct Billing is a courtesy service. It is the patients responsibility to know what their plan/policy covers. There may be times where the direct billing portals are not working or having issues. If direct billing is unavailable the patient will be required to pay upfront and submit their detailed receipt to their insurance for reimbursement.
